Will there be a PDF version ?
No, there will not be a PDF version. We enjoy the process of making books too much and have no plans to release once again a digital version. Beside, you might have noticed how JBMonge is officially involved in the AI regulation these days (Board member for France in EU EGAIR), we prefer to not help feeding intentionally the greedy AI creature as it is already out of control and looking like the Akira monster from the manga of the same name.

Can I purchase multiple copies of Celtic Faeries ?
Kickstarter limits the pledge option to one tiers but you will be able to add another copy of Celtic Faeries or any other book from the Goblin’s WAY collection through the Add-ons, once you set your pledge. PS- And don’t forget you can edit and manage your tiers and add-ons anytime before the end of campaign.

Why can't we choose another cover like in campaign #1 in 2016?
We removed the dust jacket and the 2nd choice of cover for logistic reasons. As we are just the 2 of us to do all the handling, we also need to think about all the time needed for each additions and steps. So no fuss, we prefer to stay soft this time after all, this cover is wonderful. Guillermo Del Toro himself chose this masterpiece as an addition to his amazing personal museum.

Can I read this book to children ?
Be aware that there is sometimes nudity on some illustrations and that some tales can scare children. We can say that Celtic Faeries – The Secret Kingdom are teen/adult tales and they are definitely not Disney tales : it means that it can talk about death, strange encountered, alcohol, bloody-thirsty creatures. Of course it is up to you and you know better if your child is ready to hear the tales. That said, many fans of Jean-Baptiste Monge met during conventions, told us that they grew up with his books and illustrations and I can assure you that they become lovely persons and for some, today, talented artists.

What is the difference between the French version of 2007 and the ones of 2016 and today ?
CF 2007 , very first version, was only in French. It was published by a French publisher “Au Bord des Continents” and this book is totally sold out now. JBMonge didn’t got the chance to choose paper, options etc for it.
Comparison between CF 2007 and CF 2016-2023 : CF16/23 are a very enhanced version of CF 07 : more pages (40+), much more colour illustrations, more texts, incredible forewords. Indeed, CF 07 didn’t have the 3 marvellous forewords from Guillermo Del Toro, Paul Tobin and Iain McCaig and they brought a lot to that new book. Beside all of these, the book is now much more beautiful that it was in 2007. It has great features such as gilded edges, foil stamps on the cover, quality paper choice, top render colour, fabric book mark, so many details that make this post-2007 version unique. CF2016-2023 can’t be compared to CF 2007 because they are clearly different. Without forgetting the main news that it is now available in French and many French readers, A MARI USQUE AD MARE (from one ocean to another, the official motto of Canada perfectly matches to us), are expected this new enhanced version for a long time.
Comparison between CF 2016 and CF 2023 : they are the same book, same texts and illustrations - with just slightly physical differences in the layout.
Even if you already own version 07 or version 2016, after reading all of this, I really hope that we will have convinced you again to share the campaign around you for that special book or even to treat yourself or someone you care about to buy this beautiful book. Just know that by doing so, you support an independent artist with a huge talent and a big heart. Thank you!

After the campaign, where do I find the book ?
This book will be only available here then, if we managed to print more than planned, during book fairs and conventions that we intend to do and of course on our official web shop obviously. NO Amazon, NO devouring artists big groups, it won’t be found in book shops (except the ones of some friends). YOU WON’T FIND IT ON AMAZON ;-)

From where the parcels will be sent ?
From France! It means no customs fees for those who live inside the EU but for the rest of the world it will be important for you to check at your authorities to see if you will have a fee to pay. We do not collect customs fees - this is ONLY government matters !!

Bilingual, English, French ?? How do I choose the language of my book ?
The story of the campaign is bilingual but the book is not bilingual. The book will be in French or in English but Don’t bother about it during the 30 days of the campaign. We will send a survey at the end of the campaign to everyone to choose whether they prefer their book in French or in English.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
